Theresa Hogue stopped by Avery Park on Saturday to attend the 50th annual Race Unity Day picnic, sponsored by a number of community groups. She spoke with several participants about the importance of events that bring together people from diverse backgrounds. Music was recorded live at the picnic, and includes Alexander Contreras and Tito Amaya.
