FAQ Comments
What is a podcast?
Simply put, a podcast is an MP3 audio file. Whereas the average MP3 file is merely one song, podcasts are like downloadable broadcasts – interviews, DJ mixes, reports, etc. What separates a podcast from a normal audio file is that you can subscribe to the podcast through iTunes or other podcast Web sites, and program your software or MP3 device (if capable) to automatically download new podcasts from our site as they are added. Or, if you wish, you can simply check in at our site and download podcasts individually.
What do I do with a podcast?
Like any other audio or media file, you download the podcast to listen to at your leisure, whenever and wherever there is an MP3 capable media player available.
What do I need to play podcasts?
Any MP3 capable application or device. Examples are:
Software: iTunes, Windows Media Player and WinAMP
Devices: iPod, Microsoft Zune and Creative MP3 Products.
Do podcasts play as they download?
Not every software application streams content. For example, iTunes will open a file once it is completely downloaded, whereas, Windows Media Player will play the audio file as it downloads.
Are there any imposed limitations?
There are no limits on how many times you can listen to a downloaded podcast, nor how many devices you are allowed to copy the file to.
